  1. Proprietorship

This website is owned and operated by Cliq Systems Solutions (CSS) for the purpose of providing internet call services (local and international), bulk SMS, and other related products under the brand name “CliqSMS”. While third-party advertisements or links may be displayed on the site, CSS is not responsible for the content, practices, or any transactions conducted on such external websites. Users are advised to exercise discretion when interacting with third-party links.

  1. General Terms

By creating or having an account created on your behalf, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age at the time of registration. Registration may be carried out by yourself, a friend or relative, a CliqSMS staff member, or an authorized agent.

You warrant that all information provided during registration and account configuration is accurate and truthful. You agree to indemnify Cliq Systems Solutions against any claims or liabilities arising from the submission of false or misleading information.

Any attempt to register or operate an account using false data may lead to termination of your account without refund of your balance or data value at the time of closure.

You assume full responsibility for the details used during registration, including but not limited to your mobile number and sender name(s). The use of unauthorized sender names will result in account suspension. To lift the suspension, you are required to upload a valid government-issued ID and a corporate ID (where applicable) via your dashboard under Change Profile/Password.

  1. Sending and Delivery of SMS Messages

CliqSMS endeavors to send each SMS message to the appropriate gateway for delivery, provided the system is operational and no error message is displayed. Message delivery is managed by third-party operators and networks; therefore, successful delivery cannot be absolutely guaranteed.

However, once marked as sent from our system, the message is deemed to have been dispatched. If you believe delivery was unsuccessful despite a "sent" status, kindly provide the full message details for investigation with the concerned network.

  1. Transactional Messaging and Indemnity

4.1 Transactional SMS Usage

Sending transactional messages—including but not limited to One-Time Passwords (OTPs), authentication codes, and banking alerts—is not automatically permitted on the CliqSMS platform. Users seeking to send such content must submit a formal request via email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. 4.2 Unauthorized Use of Promotional Routes

Users who transmit OTPs or other transactional content via promotional SMS routes do so at their sole risk. Cliq Systems Solutions shall not be held liable for any loss, penalties, or service disruption that may result from this unauthorized use.

4.3 Indemnification

Users agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cliq Systems Solutions, its employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, penalties, damages, regulatory fines, or legal expenses arising out of:

  • The misuse of promotional SMS routes for transactional messaging,
  • The breach of regulatory or network operator guidelines,
  • Any enforcement actions brought by mobile operators, NCC, or any relevant authority as a result of such misuse.
  1. Membership Status

Visitors become members by completing the online registration process. Membership may be revoked if:

  • The user fails to purchase SMS within 60 days of registration;
  • Fraudulent or illegal activities are detected;
  • The user is found sending prohibited content.

Payment and Credit Policy

User accounts are credited upon verification of payment via bank transfer, online payment, Paga, or Baxibox agents. In cases of dispute, allow a minimum of five (5) working days for resolution. SMS credits are sold on a prepaid basis only; we do not offer credit under any circumstances.

  1. Message Content

All users are expected to ensure that their message content is legal, ethical, and non-abusive. Messages containing threats, fraud, or illegal solicitations can be traced back to the sender upon request by authorized agencies.

As stated under Section 4, sending transactional messages without proper approval or via unauthorized routes is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension, forfeiture of balance, or additional penalties.

  1. User Information & Privacy

Personal information collected during registration or service usage may be used for customer management, marketing, or legally compliant third-party engagements. Customer identities (e.g., names) will not be disclosed, but phone numbers submitted via transactions may be utilized in a legal and ethical manner for advertising or communication purposes.

  1. Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued under the following conditions:

  • Duplicate payments made in error.
  • Mistaken overpayments (e.g., ₦100,000 instead of ₦10,000).

Refunds are subject to a 72-hour processing period and may incur a 10% deduction for VAT, Stamp Duty, and administrative charges.

Refunds are not granted where:

  • Messages are rejected due to unauthorized content.
  • Transactional messages are sent via promotional routes without prior approval.
    In such cases, the balance is forfeited, and penalties from operators may apply.
  1. General Indemnity

You agree not to repurpose content or service modules intended for one type of messaging for another without our written consent. Misuse of content across service types will result in your liability for any regulatory or financial consequences incurred. You expressly agree to indemnify Cliq Systems Solutions against all costs, losses, or liabilities resulting from such misuse.

  1. Social Media Integration

Social media account linking is optional and designed for user convenience. However, you are solely responsible for the security of your linked accounts. We disclaim any liability for unauthorized use or misrepresentation via connected social platforms.

  1. Advertising & Sponsorship

All advertisements on CliqSMS are vetted to be mainstream and non-offensive. If you encounter any advertisement you find objectionable, please contact us immediately so appropriate action can be taken.

  1. Amendment of Terms

By using the CliqSMS platform, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy, Spam Policy, and DND Policy. Cliq Systems Solutions reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Changes take immediate effect upon publication on this page or via email/SMS notification sent to the contact details you registered with.
